DescriptionThe Helpdesk, LLC provided our SharePoint 2007 expertise to the United States Army to implement an intranet designed to house each organizational unit's Post-facing documentation, forms, and procedures; as well as providing a private, organization-only workspace for sharing documents, files, and discussions. The SharePoint solution was designed with disaster-recovery and high-availability scenarios in mind, and features multiple cluster implementations. The solution is designed to initially support over 12,000 concurrent users, with additional scaling to support all projected 35,000 Fort Bliss staff and residents easily implemented. Custom workflows and InfoPath forms were also developed by team members, providing digital local form submissions for forms specific to Fort Bliss. Custom SharePoint themes were also developed, to provide a graphical reference point.
